Cottage Life
Can we afford to buy a cottage, or can we afford not to?
Relaxing by the water and escaping from the daily grind may seem impossible or just a pipe dream, but if you call me, we can assess if you are in the position to fulfill your dream of owning a cottage.
With so many of us working remotely, some have decided to sell their city home or even pull equity and invest in a family cottage cause you know frozen lakes make for great skating in the winter.
I know, I know, it’s spring, why am I talking about winter? We have all 6 seasons here in Ontario and the cottage can be a great place all year long. If you are looking for the cottage to be an escape from the city or even once in a while, maybe that dream is closer than you realize. (If you don't know what all the 6 seasons are you ask a fellow Canadian)
Bonfires with s’mores, gathering with friends, and telling stories is such an amazing way to spend the evening. Spending the day on your boat, Sea-doo, kayak, or just catching some rays while fishing. Barbecues and packed lunches to take to that island you like to visit.
Jumping off a rock into the water, sitting on the dock reading a book, spending the night in a tent on your own property, hanging up a sheet, and watching a movie under the stars.
There are endless possibilities when you dream of what a cottage life means to you.
I am always available to discuss your options, with no obligation and no cost to you. Talking with a qualified Mortgage Agent (that's me) is always a great first step.
